A story. It's far more than the fables by the Brothers Grimm. Each person is a character in his or her own tale, a story that is unlike any other. For Austin-based photographer, Phillip Glickman, photography is a way to capture these stories through images.

Phillip's passion for photography began to surface at an early age while tagging along with his granddad, a skilled nature and wildlife photographer. Phillip's family moved to the small-town of Celina, Texas when he was 11 years old. From their 44 acre farm, a young Phillip began snapping stories--small snippets of film to capture moments and memories to share with others. Perhaps even then the introduction to his own story was being written.

In 2007 Phillip left behind the doldrums of a typical office job and set out on a journey to pursue his photography passion full-time. He stepped away from the familiarity of 35mm film and purchased a brand new Nikon DSLR, seizing every opportunity along the way to become one of the best in his field.

Since starting his business, Phillip has strived to hone his talent, feeding his self-proclaimed "gadget geek" heart in the process. While Phillip specializes in wedding photography, he has also worked extensively in the non-profit sector, and even in the culinary and documentary industries.

Even today Phillip keeps in close contact with his granddad, a constant source of encouragement for his work.

The story continues for Phillip as he seeks one thing above all else: hearing and responding to God's will for his life. As a follower of Jesus Christ, Phillip is thrilled to join his passion for photography with his passion for serving his Savior.
